Bibliographic coding
Our standard coding service involves the capture of bibliographic information for various types of documents, with litigation support covering the biggest bulk of our operations. The main goal is to provide an expertly summarized record of each document and converting it into electronic searchable format. The standard bibliographic information captured includes the image and bates numbers, document title, date, author, addresses, copyees and document type.
In-text coding
This more advanced type of coding requires going through every line of a document to search for and capture relevant keywords, names, organization names, and locations. Clients provide the list of terms to be searched and captured.
Mixed coding
A combination of bibliographic and in-text coding, mixed coding is more comprehensive since the resulting output contains both bibliographic and in-text information.
Focused coding
A client may only want specific data to be captured to aid in document review and organization. This is an abbreviated version of bibliographic coding in that only few relevant data are captured.
Document determination
Done in consonance with bibliographic coding, this involves the determination of the beginning as well as the end of a document. Pagination, dates, authors, and document titles are used as determinants. This enhances document management capabilities by helping organize documents in a collection.
Full-text coding/OCR repair
Processing using optical character recognition (OCR) technology, it allows the capture of all characters in an image, resulting in a full-text data capture. Full-text coding ensures that the layout of the characters, words and graphics are indicated in the converted text. The OCR repair further ensures the accuracy of the converted images by manually coding the characters that are not accurately captured via OCR. A 99.95% accuracy is the quality standard for this.
Forms processing
In this service, relevant data from various forms, such as invoices, purchase orders, lease contracts, medical records, insurance claims, and questionnaires, are extracted. Due to the huge volume of forms being processed in organizations, this service guarantees savings in terms of cost and time spend by in-house staff to process the forms.
